For our 20th anniversary, we’re bringing back a Mercury classic: a unique slice of sounds from scenes around Paris under King Louis XV.
Hear the angelic Leçons de Ténèbres - a shimmering peak of vocal baroque music - at the grand Notre-Dame. Drink in a salon at patron of the arts Alexandre Jean Joseph Le Riche de La Pouplinière’s homeand listen to a cantata at the court of the king. Take a seat in the concert hall for violin fireworks and visit the grand opera house for some can’t-miss Rameau.
